Here's a quick watercolor of a Himalayan Monal. It was a beautiful bird, and it was a challenge to try and capture its colors with only 8 or 9 basic colors. Gotta go study! See ya for now!
This is excellent! I'm always impressed with animal studies; it takes a lot of careful, accurate observation to get a solid representation down for something that moves around so much. Wonderful job working with the colors you had at your disposal- they look really vibrant here.
